I Want A Personal, Automated Shopper
I want a personal, automated shopper, but I guess you figured that out by the title of this post. Here is what I want and hopefully the stealth website/service alice.com is going to provide it for me.
I don’t ever want to go shopping for the following things ever again. I know what I like and I just want it delivered on my doorstep (if, on the off chance I decide to change my mind about a product, I will make the extra effort to go pick up a different one myself):
- Deodorent
- Paper towels
- Toilet Paper
- Laundry Detergent
- Shampoo
- Soap/Body Wash (yes, I use body wash, but it is Old Spice, so that’s ok, right?)
- Stamps (seriously)
- And about a million other household items that I hate having to make a trip to the store to get.
You know what I don’t want to be automated? Grocery shopping. I am more than willing to go shopping every day (which I do). I know exactly how much olive oil I have left at home, but no clue whatsoever how much laundry detergent I have left. I have a feeling, though, that it is a pretty regular interval. Let’s hope Alice.com rolls this out soon, and let’s hope its amazing. I have to go get some laundry detergent now.
